Cool setup for fishing

Landed a fish on my second shot and got hooked after that. the slingshot adds a whole new challenge compared to a regular rod, and once you get the aim right, it’s pretty satisfying. the darts are solid and hit hard, even at around 20-30 meters. the included reel feels sturdy, and the line fed smoothly, no tangles or weird snags.

It’s got some weight to it, which makes it feel durable, but after a while, it does get a little tiring to hold steady. the laser sight helps a lot, especially in low light, though it took a bit of adjusting to line it up properly. wasn’t expecting to use the storage bag much, but it actually came in handy for keeping everything together.

One thing that could be better is the band setup - it works fine, but swapping them out felt a little clunky at first. maybe just takes practice, but would’ve been nice if it was a bit quicker. overall though, it’s a solid kit for anyone wanting to try something different. definitely turns some heads when people see it in action.

Way more capable than I expected

Tried the hydra out just for fun at first, but it ended up being way more practical than expected. the reel's smooth, and i was getting decent distance on the shots with the heavier darts. kept it loaded with barbed tips most of the time, and they stuck surprisingly well in shallow water.

aiming takes a bit of practice, but once it clicks, it feels pretty natural. packed everything back up in the case and tossed it in the car for the next trip. definitely more than just a novelty setup.
