None of the parts look they will wear out other than perhaps the slingshot rubber - it will stretch to around arms length, but at this point I'm super worried about it snapping back and taking my eye out! Safety glasses are highly recommended!

Not sure what some of the other reviewers are complaining about. Yes, the printed instructions are pretty much useless, but from the pictures you can work out where each of the nuts and bolts go.

Serious range and accuracy

I'm still working out what purpose the springs have, but the wrist-brace is what really allows me to draw back further, without worrying about my grip giving out. At the end of the day - it's a slingshot, so I'm not expecting major precision, but even at 20-25m, it's still possible to shoot with decent accuracy.
